Hair Oil – Tea Tree with Macadamia and Argan Oil
Our hair oils have a combination of Macadamia and Argan Oils.
Macadamia Oil contains the highest amount of Omega 7 than any other nut oil. Omega 7 most closely resembles human hair sebum and thus mimics scalp’s natural oil production to provide nourishment and moisturization with exceptional absorption and penetration from the inside out. Plus, Omega 7 is exceptionally lightweight and non-greasy with no buildup, which makes it ideal for ALL global textures, from the finest to the coarsest hair. Argan Oil is a rich oil filled with Omega 9, antioxidants and Vitamin E, which improves hair strength, renews damage and restores shine and softness to dry, brittle hair while reducing frizz and fly-aways.
When blended together…hair’s natural texture is transformed with renewed health, shine, bounce and manageability. 100% Natural, Vegan, Plastic Free and Cruelty free
To create a hair oil infused with tea tree essential oil, macadamia oil, and argan oil, you’ll be blending purifying and nourishing ingredients. Here’s a simple recipe to make such a hair oil:
Ingredients:
- Tea Tree Essential Oil: Tea tree oil is renowned for its antimicrobial and antifungal properties, making it effective in addressing scalp issues like dandruff and itchiness. It also helps to unclog hair follicles, promoting healthy hair growth and a balanced scalp.
- Macadamia Oil: Macadamia oil is deeply moisturizing and helps to soften rough and dry hair. It contains fatty acids that nourish and strengthen the hair, leaving it soft, manageable, and shiny.
- Argan Oil: Argan oil is rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fatty acids that nourish the hair and scalp. It helps to repair damage, reduce frizz, and promote overall hair health. Argan oil is lightweight and absorbs quickly, leaving the hair smooth and silky.
Instructions:
- Measurements: Start by deciding the proportions of each oil based on your hair’s needs and your personal preferences. A common ratio could be 1 part tea tree oil, 2 parts argan oil, and 2 parts macadamia oil. Adjust these ratios according to your hair’s requirements.
- Mixing: Pour the desired amount of each oil into a clean, dry glass bottle. Use a funnel to prevent spillage. For example, if you’re using 1 ounce (30ml) of tea tree oil, you’d add 2 ounces (60ml) each of argan and macadamia oil.
- Blending: Add tea tree essential oil to the carrier oils. Aim for a concentration of around 1-2% tea tree oil in the final blend. For example, if you’re making 3 ounces (90ml) of hair oil, you’d add 18-36 drops of tea tree oil.
- Shaking: Close the bottle tightly and shake well to ensure thorough mixing of the oils.
- Application: Use the dropper to dispense a small amount of the oil onto your palms. Rub your hands together to warm the oil, then massage it into your scalp and hair, focusing on the roots and ends. You can use it on damp or dry hair.
- Storage: Store the hair oil in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its freshness and potency.
By following this recipe, you’ll create a purifying and nourishing hair oil infused with the invigorating scent of tea tree, along with the moisturizing benefits of argan and macadamia oil, leaving your hair and scalp feeling refreshed, healthy, and revitalized. Adjust the proportions and essential oil concentration to suit your hair’s specific needs and your personal preferences.
